Ryan from Cast Iron Boys cooked our Rockin’ Roast Lamb Recipe with legendary Spida Everitt. This demo happened at the Brisbane Caravan, Camping and Touring Holiday Show in June 2014.
The Cast Iron Boys were doing live camp oven demos on the “Campfire Cooking Stage.” These demos happened 4 times daily at the very first Gold Coast Caravan & Camping Expo by Caravanning Queensland.
If you have been to our shows you would know that it’s a “must-see” opportunity for anyone interested in cooking outside. Mick, Nick and Ryan designed their demonstrations to be fun and informative.
Audience members made damper on stage and they helped prepare apricot chicken for the boy’s lunch later that afternoon. OzTrail Leisure Products supplied amazing prizes to these lucky audience members. These prizes included camp ovens, lifters and more. Not bad for a bit of fun on stage in front of a live audience, what do you reckon!
The Gold Coast Caravan and Camping Expo was amazing and it was the biggest caravan event to hit the Gold Coast in 2014! Over 100 exhibitors showcased the latest in caravans, campers, tent trailers, 5th wheelers and motorhomes.
